Popular broadcaster, Yvonne Vixen Ekwere clocks 29 years

Today is the birthday of popular television presenter, Yvonne Ekwere better known as Vixen.

Born in Lagos on March 3, 1987, Yvonne hit the limelight when she became the host of Silverbird’s Entertainment Weekly.
She attended Airforce Primary School in Victoria Island, Lagos for her elementary education while her secondary school education was concluded at Holy Child College, also in Lagos. She later proceeded to the Lagos State University where she studied History and International Studies part time at the institution’s Lekki campus.
Unarguably one of the most popular faces on TV, Yvonne started her career as a radio OAP at Rhythm FM working alongside IK Osakioduwa, then known as Wild Child. Years later she auditioned for TV and got the E-Weekly job which has since made her media career blossom.
Starting her television career interviewing former MBGN, Adaeze Igwe, Yvonne has interviewed several celebs and has hosted numerous events including MBGN and former president, Goodluck Johnathan’s ‘Dinner With Showbiz Stakeholders’.
