26-year-old son of Nigerian Diplomat jailed for life for assault and murder of a prostitute in Scotland

26-year-old son of Nigerian diplomat, Bala Chinda, has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the assault and murder of North-East prostitute and mother-of-one, Nkechi Jessica McGraa.

It was reported that, Bala Chinda broke down in the dock on Friday, January 20, as he was convicted of carrying out a sustained and violent attack on 37-year-old Jessica McGraa.

The 26-year-old Robert Gordon University student had been on trial at the High Court in Aberdeen, as he was accused of strangling and suffocating the McGraa, after forcefully sleeping with her in a rented apartment in Union Terrace.

It was also alleged that after the killing the young lady, Chinda stole her mobile phones in order to dispose of any evidence linking him to her.
