Bobby Bowden insults single moms and his former players in horrible interview

Mike Golic’s awkward laugh said it all.
Following in the footsteps of George Karl as a coach claiming that his former players who won him titles, made him millions and built his careers are defective because they were raised without fathers, Bobby Bowden said that his former players were often raised by their mom, grandmother or sisters — something he found to be deeply troubling.
“A boy needs a male figure,” he said. “And the girls do too. Somebody to discipline them and make them be a man. I used to kid about this you know, they grow up and they want to be like their mama. That’s the way they were raised. That’s why they wear earrings.”
