2017 NFL playoff predictions: The Patriots are making the Super Bowl, but who will they play?
The NFL playoffs are days away. We’ve gathered together some For
the Win staffers to make their postseason predictions. Let’s get to the
picks…
I like this Giants team, I genuinely do, but this just isn’t a good matchup for them. The G-Men are built to win low-scoring, scrappy games; unfortunately for them, Aaron Rogers at home won’t give them that opportunity.
Steven: Packers
This really is the worst matchup for the Giants. Rodgers can extend plays against their pass rush and put pressure on the secondary. The Packers will win this rematch.
Charles: Packers
Yes, another Giants-Patriots Super Bowl would be a dream, but a lot has to go New York’s way to win this game, including a clean game from Eli Manning and for the solid defense to clamp down on a suddenly-hot-again Aaron Rodgers. That’s too much for the Giants to do on the road.
